The brothel no longer provides mana, only money.

You can now use girls in the brothel by paying them. If you do something they are only willing to do because they are getting paid, the benefits will be less, but it is still a way to convert money into mana.
The Sanctuary event causing an increase in Sexuality will occur somewhat more often, and more girls will be eligible, *if* the sanctuary has a manager (and even more so if that manager has a sexuality of 16 or greater.

A. Easy installation (not guaranteed to work, but I expect it will):
1) Unpack the main .zip archive,
After installation, you should have 6 sub-directories in c:\VR.Kanojo plus
3 .exe files (InitSettings.exe: Setup file for the game, VRKanojo.exe: Main game file and
vrkanojo_02_update0303.exe: Update file from version 1.20 to 1.31), and 6 more files, including
VRKanojo1_20.zip.
2) Double-click on reg.reg to add information to the Windows Registry. VRKanojo.exe will not
run properly unless this is done (don't know what info it adds to the registry).
3) Customize the game by starting InitSetting.exe, then start it by clicking on the START button.
4) Alternatively, you can also start the game by double-clicking on VRKanojo.exe, or on a short-cut
linking to that file.
5) Delete the file VRKanojo1_20.zip It's only necessary if you use the more cumbersome installation below.

B. More cumbersome installation - tested to work:
- This is how I installed the game myself, and it's working perfectly.
You need to follow the instructions carefully.
1) Unpack the main .zip archive in the to a temporary folder.
2) After unpacking it, you now only need the file VRKanojo1_20.zip.
Unzip this file into its own sub-directory in the temporary folder. You'll get 5 files:
vrkanojo_02_update0303.exe
Install.exe
autorun.inf
Darksiders.bin
Darksiders.nfo
3) Run the file install.exe. This will install version 1.20 of VR Kanojo. I recommend you install it
in c:\VR.Kanojo as the installer suggests.
4) Copy the file vrkanojo_02_update0303.exe into the new directory c:\VR.Kanojo where version 1.20
of the game has now been installed, and go to c:\VR.Kanojo.
5) Now you can delete all the files in the temporary folder. The reason there's so many is for the easy installation
method to be possible.
6) In c:\VR.Kanojo, double-click and execute the file reg.reg. This updates the Windows Registry and is necessary
for the game to run correctly. Press YES when asked if this information should be added to the Windows Registry.
7) Now you've finished installing v 1.20 of the game, but you need to update to v 1.31. This is done by:
8) Run the file vrkanojo_02_update0303.exe. This creates a new sub-directory in c:\VR.Kanojo called
VRカノジョアップデートプログラム. Go into this directory, into sub-dir "English", sub-dir "Setup" and copy the file
herein, InitSetting.exe into the c:\VR.Kanojo directory. Answer yes to the question if it should over-write
the existing file.
8) Then run the new InitSetting.exe. Note that it will show you that a newer version is available, should show you
that version 1.31 is available, but I'm not sure what will happen if Illusion releases an even newer update!
Click on "Update". Now InitSetting.exe will download and install the update to version 1.31. It takes a while, esp.
if you're using the bandwidth for something else too, I suggest you halt other downloads while getting the update.
9) Now your game is updated to v 1.31, and it should run perfectly - it does on my computer at least.

C. Notes:
The game can run both in English and Japanese language. If (like me) you run it in English language, the "virtual girlfriend"
will still speak Japanese, but there will be subtitles with translation. Unfortunately, those are difficult to read, so it's
a good think you don't have to carry out an intellectual conversation with her.

NOTE that the game REQUIRES an installed VR headset like Oculus Rift or HTC VIVE or HTC Vive Pro.
From version 1.30 the game also supports WinMR.

I'm not certain the easy installation method will work because the main archive is just an archive of the file and folder
structure where I'm currently running the game. The game works PERFEC7LY on my computer, which is using
HTC VIVE Pro, and the installation should work perfectly with Oculus Rift or HTC VIVE also. Probably also with
WinMR if you've installed "Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR" as the developer writes on the website.

The game is supposed to let you progress to the juicier scenes by first wooing and befriending the girl, and you
have to do this the right way and in the right order to unlock the options that are locked at the start - and which
will be locked in the version you've downloaded here. I haven't yet managed to unlock these scenes, and am currently
searching for a crack/mod or simply a completed save, which will do this.

At hongfire there's also an uncensor mod for the girl's private parts, but it's for an earlier game version, and I haven't
installed or tested it. More uncensor etc. mods are - hopefully - forthcoming for this game. Graphically it's astounding,
but the range of what can be done is as yet somewhat limited. Enjoy
