In combat, enemies are as tough as they need to be. Essentially, every tool you have as a player is meant to be used by your enemies: skills, spells, potions, perks, etc. If you're wearing light armor and can't dodge/block a greatsword, you're not going to have a good time no matter your level! Each enemy type and armor type has strengths and weaknesses, meaning you can’t just deal one type of damage: don’t expect to clear out a Norse ruin full of undead with just a bow! Did I mention you can only regenerate health with potions or spells? The mod list contains a carefully hand-added dose of new armor and clothing, you can see the list here.
This brings us to the heart of NEFARAM combat: you need to delegate some parts of it to followers. You need a tank to deal with melee enemies, a mage to freeze those Dwarven centurions, maybe a healer would be a good idea... Followers are the only people who will progress at the same pace as you. You get the idea. But remember, this is a harsh world and almost no one is your friend here...

Installation procedure:
Install using the shortest path using only English letters, Cyrillic is not allowed! Something like D:\Games will do.
It is highly recommended to increase the swap file to at least 20, or better yet, 40GB. This must be done if the game crashes! If you don't know, google "change swap file size".

A full-fledged installer. It is launched via the NEFARAM_SETUP.exe file in the distribution. Everything is basically intuitive - select the path, you can disable changes to the registry and the creation of shortcuts on the desktop if desired.
One of the nuances is that the game is installed in the NEFARAM folder, which must be taken into account when choosing the installation location. That is, if you want the path to be like D:\Games\NEFARAM, then you need to choose D:\Games\.
